.: History
I. Past Clans
The Arctic Warfare Elite has many ties with some of our member's
past clans. For instance, the secondary clan leader, Silent Killer,
was a past member of Sporting Death and Destruction (SDD) and
also a temporary member of the Lost Gamers Association (LGA).
Agent Rex, the primary clan leader, was once a member of such
clans as (RoX), the Stars Alpha Team (SAT), and Eastern Iowa
Elite (EIE). We have made Clan SDD's website, which can be found
under the "Hosted" section. In return for them making us a server.
This small exchange of skills is just one example of our kindness
toward our allied clans. For a list of our allies look under the Links
section. You can also go there for information on how your clan can
form an alliance with -AWE-.
II. The Forming of the Clan
The -AWE- clan was formed on 5/9/02, and shortly after that the
website was made. As planned, Silent Killer(formerly Hellsmonkey)
quit the Lost Gamers Association and joined as the secondary Clan
Leader. Followed by the first -AWE- clan tryouts ever. Although
they were well organized and successful, only two members were
allowed in. They were Clutch and (SAT) member, JuicyCracker.
Clutch went on to be our 1st Officer while JuicyCracker was kicked
out of the clan a few weeks later due to not following the rules.
This shows that, even if you are one of the CL's close friends, if you
disobey orders and the rules then you will be kicked out. When the
Gamers Against Terrorism (G.A.T.) organization was started after
the events of 9.11.02, the clan was eager to become a member of it.
Now, the organization is one of our top Affiliates.
III. "The Middle Ages"
After the creation of the -AWE-'s very own server, the first signs of
the clan's dedication and seriousness started to show. Along with
the server came a new sense of pride and accomplishment among
Arctic Warfare Elite. Between these times and today was when most
of the clan's unique features were made. Such as the -AWE- Playbook,
which can be printed out through a website for all of our members. The
playbook contains a list of "plays" or tactics for every single map and
team being played on. They are all numbered and given a letter, like
D4T would be a defensive strategy for the terrorists on cs_office by
the entrance of the Prodigy Inc. room. This will allow a complex team
strategy for a Clan Match when time is of the essence. Another feature
was the idea of customized clan weapons and maps. Which can be found
under the "Download" section of the site.
IV. Today
Today the Arctic Warfare Elite is a very tight-knit clan made up of all
skill types and gaming attitudes. To find out more about us stop by our
server or post a question on the forums.
